How to add google contact form in blog

 Hello,


Do you know you can add google form as contact form in your blog. A good contact option is an essential thing in a blog which makes your blog complete. There is actually an inbuilt contact option is available in blogger, but isn't working properly and effectively. 

So how you can add google form as a contact option for better communication from your blog viewers?

This will work in any website including blogger blogs.

So let's go to the procedure, follow the below steps to add google form as contact form in your blog.


Step 1

Open Google Form 

Google Forms


*You must enable Desktop version if you are doing this in your mobile*


Step 2

Select Contact Information from the options Blank, Contact Information, RSVP, Party Invite.


Step 3

After selecting Contact Information, you will find a form editing window.


Follow these steps to make a good contact form;


Enter a contact form title in Contact information

Enter description in Form description if needed, it isn't necessary to add a form description



Select Name,

choose short answer and enable Required.


Select Email,

choose short answer and enable Required.


Select Address,

this isn't actually required in a contact form, so tap on Bin to delete this option if you don't want this field.

Select Phone number,

delete this option if you don't want this option.


Select Comments,

Edit the comment and type "Message". Choose paragraph and make it a required field.



Now, contact form page customisation is finished. You can view how this contact form looks like by clicking view (👁)  button.


Step 4

After this, select Responses and click on  ' ' . 


And enable Get email notifications for new responses for getting notification in email when you get a response. You will see a tick mark (✓) when enabled.



Step 5

Then, Click on the settings ⚙️ and edit as shown in the picture


In General, disable all



In Presentation, type a confirmation message. This will be shown when a visitor submit.

Type "Thanks for contacting" and click Save.


Step 6

Now all form customisation is finished. Next step is to add this contact form in your site. For this click on Send and select Embed Html.




Copy the HTML and paste it in your website page where you want contact option.
