After the Pubg 1.5, Pubg Corp. are going to introduce 1.6 this month with lots of new features and new game modes. In 1.6, Pubg corp. are likely to introduce new game mode called Flora Menace in Erangel classic mode as like Mission Ignition. Along with this, the new Vikendi map is coming back as Vikendi 2.0 along with Infection, Metro royale, Payload and more. As the beta version of 1.6 is already released, the features are already leaked.
Pubg 1.6 Update: Release date
Pubg 1.6 update will be released in the 2nd week of this month. And C1S1 will end and the new season C1S2 will be started from 16 September along with new M3 royale pass. Players can download from Playstore, app store or from any other source when released. The all new features may not be included in this first update, but will be introduced as in-game update later.

New mode: Flora Menace
The Pubg corp. is going to introduce new theme mode called Flora Menace in Erangel map. It will be a separate mode from Erangel classic map as like Mission Ignition mode. Some features of this mode is given below.
Air conveyor
This air conveyor is already available in mission ignition mode. One can enter this and fly up in the air navigate to a place.
Cell matrix
Cell matrix is a mother ship where player need to fight with random weapons. Players need to find cell marked in the map, it will take them to this mother ship called Cell matrix. Players can fight with enemies and with random weapons. Eliminating the enemies will give the players Nacore chips. These Nacore chips can be used for exchanging dynahex supplies. If players get killed in these cell combat, they will be respawn and will not affect in any tier points.
Rejuvenation barrier
These Rejuvenation barrier will be appear randomly on the map. By entering these area, players will get health boost.
Dynahex
You can use these supplies from the backpack using Nacore chips which you will get from cell combat by eliminating opponents.
Other modes/maps:
Vikendi 2.0
The vikendi maps isn't available for some months. But this winter map is coming back with an upgraded version. New vehicles and weapons are available in this Vikendi map.
Payload 2.0
This evoground mode map comes with unique weapons and vehicles. This was available before some months. It will come again in this season. The match result from this mode will not affect your tier ranking points.
Infection mode
This is a zombie mode where you will be a player or zombie. If you are a player, you will get unlimited ammo weapon. You need to kill zombies with these weapons. You may get infected if a zombie attack you and you will turn into a zombie. If you survive for certain time, you will change into a valkyrie. You should kill all the zombies to win the game.
If you are a zombie, you should infect all the players before a certain time ends. If you get killed by players you will respawn. But when the time ends and players turn to valkyrie, your match ends if you get killed.
Survive till dawn
This is an another zombie mode where you need to survive the game without getting infected by zombies till the dawn. And also you should eliminate opponents too to win the game.
Metro royale
Metro royale is another mode which take you underground where you can play exiting game and earn better rewards. These matche results won't affect your classic rating points.
Other updates
Updated basic settings panel
In 1.6 update, the basic settings panel has updated. The normal basic settings will have 3 options,
- Aim and Tap to Fire
- Advanced and features
- Privacy
Game has improved a lot with realistic graphics. The clouds and water have realistic movement.
A new sound for shots when hit on helmet has introduced.
The punch movement is become more realistic.
Merge crouch and prone
Players can merge crouch and prone from 1.6 update if they wanted. By merging, there will one button for both crouch and prone. When they tap on this button, player crouches. If hold this button, player do prone. It may help some users, if you want this feature you can enable it from basic settings. You can enable or disable this option even while you are playing a match.
Plane route show option in map
This feature will help you to find the plane route which players traveled at the beginning of game. You can disable this feature in map if you don't want.
So pubg 1.6 update will be released in 2nd week of September. You can download or update it from Playstore, app store or from any other sources.
